Business Unusual
I'm a vegetarian and proud of it. Unfortunately, when it comes to fashion my ethics enter a grey area; I wouldn't buy fur, but don't seem to balk at buying with or working in leather. Enter olsen Haus, a vegan shoe line for men, women, and children. They're colorblocked, distressed, paint splattered, and totally sweet. I wouldn't mind more of a heel on some of the pumps but love the cone heel of the bootie and the artwork on the boot below... They're honestly still not in my price range but are good for current shoe prices. Wish I could help them out, they've got a great thing going.

So, let's ignore the fact that this is basically the male version of Agyness, but prettier...

Thrifting Pleasures
Today ended up being an amazing day for new clothes: I have acquired a purple wool thigh-length coat, a red wool mini mini dress, a fuchsia knit knee length skirt, a sheer polka dot black button down, a grey shrunken blazer, a black jumpsuit, black harem pants, and a cropped faux fur.
I WISH I HAD A CAMERA.
Also a bonus of getting new clothes is that I always go through my closet to edit and junk things that are really hopeless; this venture always turns into experimentation with old things to make sure I can't find some way to wear them. A silk skirt turned into a one-shoulder top when belted, and two knit tops were reinvented as skirts. I usually don't have much time in the morning for shuffling through my closet so I love when I actually have time to try new looks out and re-familiarize myself with the contents of my wardrobe. Hopefully it'll result in some more adventuresome combinations!

Tweet Tweet
Even with all of this computer uncertainty, I'm more connected than ever: I'm now on Twitter and get ridiculous updates from people at Paris Fashion Week. It's extremely addicting. Follow me if you like, I'm mostly reposting the best of what I'm sent in the form of picture links, so apologies if you are getting all of this stuff in multiples...
I also finally got my Google Reader function up and running, saving myself time of scanning through countless blogs in the hopes of finding an update; unfortunately for my time management skills that now means constant reminders of new things to read! Hopefully it will result in only the best for this blog.
